Description: Modoc Indian songs. Sung in Modoc, and possibly Piaute, Pit River, Klamath,
and Shasta. Second generaltion audio tapes, copies of cylinders; sound quality fair to poor.
Accompanied by references and some texts with English translations and musical notation.
Celia Lynch, Usie George, Peter and Lizzie Schonchin, vocals. Recorded by Leslie Spier,
possibly with assistance fro Earl W. Count, in California in 1934.
