Historical Note: Nelson Reed, a founding member of the Klamath River Compact Commission, gave his Klamath River Compact papers to Laurence Shaw upon the closing of Reed's office in Klamath Falls. In 1967, Mr. Shaw donated the papers to the Oregon Historical Society. The Shaw Historical Library collection consists of photocopies of the Nelson Reed papers which are still held by th OHS (OHS file #MSS1154).
Description: Twenty-seven folders of photocopied correspondence, reports, and minutes relating to the Klamath River Compact Commission. The documents are dated 1951-1958.
